"First let me say that the property is a very old mansion turned into a B&B. We expected a certain level of "charm" and were not disappointed. The staff is very friendly and the breakfast was very good the next morning. is was served restaurant style with many separate table, which we shared with a couple from Starkville, MS. It was raining off and on while we were there so we didn't really get to experience the outdoor amenities. Our room was in an out building, was large and the small kitchen was nice. The shower needs a new head, but had plenty of pressure. The furniture is getting on the well-used side, but was comfortable. I am sure the rooms inside the house are probably a little better, so make sure you ask for one of those. The house itself is wonderful. We took the historic tour the next morning before we left. It was very informative.
If you enjoy quaint stays and don't need the ambiance of a corporate locations, then you can find a home here. We would stay again, if we could stay in the main house."
