"The hotel staff were great and the room was large and quite nice. The hotel is especially well located for activities around Notre Dame and Old Town. However, the hotel is also located around the corner from one of the city’s largest soup kitchens and homeless concentrations. Consequently, aggressive panhandlers, human waste and accompanying odors. For the cost, there are many 4/5 star hotels are more ideally located."

It’s within walking distance of many of the main tourist attractions and very close to bus stops and Metro stations, making it easy to get around the city. Overall, we had an amazing stay and would definitely recommend this hotel!"

"On arrival, check=in was straight forward. The room was clean and well presented with a great view over the city which was beautiful at night. The restaurant had a reasonable range of food for breakfast and evening meals, however, you need to be up early for breakfast to avoid the half hour wait in the queue. Other than that, the hotel and service were brilliant. We would definitely use it again."

"Spent two nights here in September. Good hotel for tourists. It’s less than a 10 minute walk to Old Montreal. As far as the rooms go, didn’t spend a ton of time there but the bathroom (and the whole rooms too) was clean, the shower worked great and the beds were very comfortable. The staff was super friendly and helpful. There is a decent bar in the hotel lobby. For a short tourist stay in downtown Montreal it is a nice, clean and affordable option. The room I stayed in did smell a bit like smoke on check-in but running the room fan for a few mins."
