"The hotel was very clean as was our room. The balcony was lovely and we made use of it during our stay frequently. We really enjoy the on-site restaurant and had an excellent meal. The waitstaff was warm and welcoming. We had a wonderful stay. Thank you."

"Standard, albeit clean business hotel. Not a vacation hotel but a stop-over. Breakfast is below standard in that the eggs are from, I believe, a box and the sausages were a overdone. Lots of carbs available. Wooden cutlery- gross. I don't know what happened to hotel prices but $300 a night is steep for this kind of hotel. From here to Halifax a there were no other rooms available so maybe it was a supply and demand thing."

"Good checking even though training a new employee. Roommate satisfactory but a bit dated. Restaurant was good if you like Indian food. Did not use pool or hot tub. Overall, a good stay."

"From the warm welcome by Mary, to the spectacular view from our room which looked right over the Northumberland Straights towards PEI, to the best dinner and breakfast we can remember (amazing flavors and presentation) the Amherst Shore Country Inn beats them all!!"

"We stayed at “Log Point” which is just down the road from the main inn. This made the room, and property in general, especially quiet and peaceful. The common spaces were warm and inviting overlooking the water. The king room was decorated in a classic decor, ample space, and nice large bathroom with a jetted tub. We didn’t use the tub only the shower. We were very comfortable. We had breakfast at the main inn, where a classic breakfast was made to your taste. We did not have dinner but you have that as an option with a nice wine list. Staff were friendly and helpful. If you want a peaceful, relaxing escape this is the perfect place."
