"Breakfast isn’t terrible, you just need to get there early. The front desk staff are not pleasant, The old man is hostile. It’s not a culture thing. Most Indians are super friendly and helpful, just not here. Don’t ever expect to be greeted when coming through the lobby or passing people in the hallway. I have never seen people who are doing the absolute bare minimum behave as if they are giving the rooms away freely. Truly baffling. Here on business through the end of the month, it’s just really sad. The town is actually really nice. The beds are comfy. The stairwells reek of mold and housekeeping works with the limitations imposed upon them. Not a family friendly environment, no pool, you have to ask and be escorted to enter gym during “available” hours and business professionals will not appreciate the lack of basic amenities. The fact it’s less than 10 minutes from my office is the only saving grace, but I assure you I’m overpaying by at least 50% of the daily rate. Think roach/crackville-like without the actual scurrying about of the two."
"INDOOR POOL: Although this hotel offers an indoor pool, please know that you will have to walk outside to the main bldg where the pool is located. The rooms are in a separate building. This is great in the spring/summer, not so great in cold rainy/snowy weather."
"The room was clean and homey. The mattresses were comfortable and so were the pillows. The tv pulled out of the wall and the bathroom mirror had Bluetooth connectivity. There was a safe in the room for storage of prized possessions. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The hotel staff went out of their way to get coffee ready for me on a Saturday. I was up around 6:30 looking for coffee and the kitchen didn’t open till 7 so I was very appreciative of this act of kindness. The coffee was delicious. The breakfast wasn’t a buffet. You had to order from a menu and pay separately. We had to get going on the road so I can’t attest to the quality of food. Lastly, I liked that there were bathrooms near the pool."
