"A resort of this caliber should have a high level of service and sadly, it fell very short. Resort is beautiful, huge but beautiful. Service times took forever and even when there was finally service, everyone was just going through the motions. No one was pleasant. I’m all about first impressions and the front desk didn’t do so great. Not welcoming at all. We celebrated a birthday and they did not have a candle! I mean.. vacations usually include birthday celebrations, so the la k of candle for my young child was disappointing. Besides the slow service, everything else was great. Plentiful chairs and towels, good food, lovely grounds, fun waterpark, nice rooms (marina side), nice beach, fun ferry ride. I’d recommend getting a private palapa on the beach.
Service was just really not it."

"This room is FOR REAL in the restaurant. You walk past the kitchen to get to your room. There is no AC. There are 2 fans. The water pressure in the shower was great! Unfortunately when we woke up in the morning and tried to use the kettle to make a French press, it didn’t work. We didn’t notify anyone because we were on a time crunch. It is very conveniently located to a lot of restaurants and things to do on the island. "

"This was perfect for us. We loved the property and the animals. The location was great with a short walk to restaurants and shops. We enjoyed our evenings on the patio. Staff were very friendly and helpful and we had a fabulous horseback riding adventure with Reuben. A simple breakfast was provided. They had lots of beach stuff available to use like chairs, mats, snorkeling gear, bug spray, lotion. We would definitely stay here again!"

"This hotel was absolutely gorgeous it exceeded all of my expectations me and my daughter had a wonderful vacation the staff was excellent everyone spoke perfect English the rooms were lovely the food at Tova was delicious and we enjoyed ourselves very much the pizza by the pool side was absolutely fabulous the drinks by Nicole and Gabriel were absolutely delicious Xavier the concierge was more than a joy to help assist with taxi cabs and anything I needed"

"I am so happy we found this place and so grateful of the staff. The room was very clean, well taken care off, in general, amazing condition. I appreciate the coffee. The staff is really helpful and it shows they actually want you to enjoy your time in Vieques. That is great!

"The property has all the basics and is well-equipped with everything you need for a stay in Vieques. However, our experience was hampered by several issues. Check-in was difficult; we waited over 20 minutes for someone to arrive after two phone calls and multiple messages.
Once inside, we were informed one of the showers was non-functional. The interior doors have hinges that make a loud, high-pitched screeching sound every time they are moved. Most concerning, however, was the kitchen. We saw several small cockroaches roaming around and didn't feel comfortable using the kitchen for the duration of our stay. This place has great potential if they address the maintenance and pest control."
