"A pleasantly surprising stay in the Saumur/ Doué-la-Fontaine area of the Loire. This property while modern is a gem, we benefited from a comfortable clean and pleasant family room, with a window opening up onto their rear garden area. "ROOM 44 - poor cleaning, window that doesn't close properly because it's ruined, but above all insects (ants and various flying insects) that come in and hang around on you and on the blankets. After that I slept in the car from midnight to 4... I will not return to this establishment.. I would have asked for a room change but the reception closes at 11pm and there is no one there until 5am.."

"Very friendly staff and room very clean. Lovely setting with each room having its own terrace. Dog friendly and there is a great public open space on the other side of the road where dogs can be exercised. Unfortunately we could not use the restaurant because a wedding party was using it. However good restaurants nearby and good room service meant this did not detract too much."

"The room was tiny. We had a twin room, which meant a double bed and a bunk bed, and not enough space for two bags. The bathroom was minute, however, the shower was fantastic."
