"We really enjoyed our stay here. We had a two bedroom - just a note that it is a bit of a walk from the main hotel area down the road, so if anyone has mobility issues they should be aware of that. The staff were really lovely and accommodating and offered us early check in as we arrived on the bus from Voss with all of the other tourists and I had a cranky 3 year old. The breakfast was excellent - lots of variety and fresh food. We enjoyed visiting the Viking Valley - which I don’t think is affiliated with the hotel but the restaurants are owned by the same people. Lovely views, lovely room (a bit cold to start but heated up once we were there for awhile and had the heaters going) - and it was magical waking up to the frosty mountain air with that view. "
"We had a wonderful stay at this small guest home. We wished we had been able to stay longer. The hosts were kind and went out of their way to make us feel at home. Very nice room with a lovely view. "
"Undeniably a gorgeous location! Communication was a problem but only at 1st. The Expedia message did not work. You have to use WhatsApp to contact them about the door code. Parking is scary if other cars are there. It's a tight squeeze to go anywhere in Undredal though. It's a one-way road, in and out. I will never forget that view though! It was definitely worth the sketchy drive!"
"Well worth the price, spectacular surroundings offering fjord views and a sense of being a member of the traditional hotels. You can kayak, take a sauna, a dip if you are hardy enough. The breakfast was lovely, as was the dinner. And King Harald Fairhair was born in the neighborhood! "
"Lovely hotel, great location. Only minor complaint is that the room was a bit on the warm side and despite several attempts to change the thermostat we couldn’t get it to cool down. Otherwise happy to recommend"
