"I highly recommend this hotel. You take a boat to get there from Abraao that the hotel organizes and end up in this beautiful, serene and romantic place. We absolutely loved it! You can hike to town (took us 1 hour 30 minutes/great hike) and get water tours from Abraao or keep hiking (lots of options) or they will organize a water tour to pick you up at hotel. There is definitely a party scene on Abraao so it was amazing to be away from it all."

"the houses were looking lovely on the internet and the house itself was clean and well maintained but it is more a hotel of value of 200 /300 reales per night. no more. the bed was cheap and terrible. the sheets were as thin as they could possible be and we didn't feel comfortable when we entered the room and found blood spatters on the wall and curtains. this doesn't fill one with confidence "

"Very convenient option before crossing to Ilha Grande. The rooms are very basic but the bed was fine and the a/c was in good working condition.
Staff and the owner were very friendly and accommodating, including special requests that we had.
Breakfast was very good, with plenty of options. "

"Room was spotless and in a good location, about a 5-10 minute walk from the boat.
The owner was brilliant. She came and met us to make sure everything was ok, and took our number to give us tips on things to do and places to go. We were also able to book trips through her at a discounted rate.
I would thoroughly recommend the Casa Azul Suites, and hope to be back there some day. "
