Top Vilagarcia de Arousa Hotel Reviews

Rey Fernando

10/10 Excellent

"The room was clean and comfortable. The location was great because it is 5 minutes from the train and bus station. If you want to do laundry, there’s a big laundromat next door. The staff was kind and helpful, but especially the owner, Mr Peio was amazing. I was robbed in the morning on the way to the Cathedral and he took my cellphone with credit card inside. Mr.Peio took me to the police station, went out of the way to help me. When the police wasn’t helping much he even helped me trace the phone from my tablet and tried finding the thief. He was very busy but went out of his way to help me. I didn’t get my phone back but his kindness warmed my heart. I would stay here again."

Exe Peregrino

8/10 Good

"The hotel is comfortable and the breakfast is very good. Staff is very polite and helpful. It’s located 15 minutes walk to the historic center and the Cathedral. The front desk staff gave us a map and showed us how to get there. Parking is very convenient right at the front of the hotel. The only bad thing was the smell in the lobby area. It didn’t smell good"

Parador de Pontevedra

10/10 Excellent

"This was probably my favorite hotel in the camino portugues! So comfortable and luxurious. Our room was a great size. Our bed was very comfortable, the hotel was unique and interesting. Our bathroom was spa like and I loved the tub after a long day of walking the camino. Very convenient, just off the c amino, and close to restaurants and town. We enjoyed both the indoor and outdoor sitting areas. I would love to come back!"

Hotel Vila As Pedras

10/10 Excellent

"The property is a beautifully updated historic structure. They have retained the charm. The bar/restaurant was excellent, outdoor dining was lovely, beds were comfy, room was spacious, and staff were helpful and unobtrusive. Taxi service to Santiago de Compostela was available but a bit pricey. If you have a car, parking is plentiful. I would stay again!"
