We just spent five days on the property and had a lovely time. Staff truly goes above and beyond. Property was super clean and not too far from the airport. There is a small beach and a restaurant and is in easy walking distance to a couple other restaurants. Definitely upgrade to the ocean front room if it’s available. It was lovely!

Sunset Shores is located right on the beach. It has great food and friendly helpful staff. Rooms are very nice with comfortable beds and either a patio or balcony.

I stayed for 4 days and we enjoyed every minute of it.We had fun on the beach which is footsteps away.I didn’t like the holes in the ground close to the fridge,it was an eyesore.And the blinds were unstable but besides that The facility is beautiful.and the staff is awesome from the front desk to the female security guard and Denise the housekeeping lady who wears a glasses ,she is just superb,she was always that welcoming face that just made my day.

The ambiance, the smell of the sea salt and fhe fresf breeze on my face. Location in wonderful as you don't get too much earl mor sun on the beach, which ids great for me.

If you ever think of renting this hotel. Their food is ridiculously over priced and very small portions. It’s better to eat out or stay elsewhere. Some staff are very rude. The cleaners do an excellent job. But the hotel is dated.

The pricing on our menu is in EC (local currency) and includes 16% VAT. If you would like to message us directly to provide more detailed feedback about staff who were not very welcoming and accommodating, we would appreciate it. We loved the long sunsets and the beach, proximity of other hotels and their restaurants, accessible through a boardwalk along the shore. It is in our opinion the best hotel in the area. You need to be patient while waiting for your meal orders in the restaurant located in the hotel. The meals are tasty, however quite pricey. We were often visiting other restaurants. Generally we were very happy and we stayed there 7 days.

We had serious issue from day one. Some were addressed and we let that go, but between the food and the water, we had enough. If we could have, we would have gone to another hotel, but the ones nearby were booked. If I am paying for a hotel and have NO WATER to shower and brush my teeth, that is an issue. We spoke with management multiple times and we left with no resolution.

Staff and environment friendly and welcoming. The meal selections could have had more variety.. eg have a catch of the day, items listed should be available without last minute substitutes. The private events did impact on the residence access to the dining room, dining room bar, pool and services on Friday, Saturday and Sunday. We were pretty well room bound without services as the staff were consumed with the their event duties.

Property and room services was good. Dinning service was slow, inaccurate, the menu was weak lacked variety and was on the expensive end for what was offered. We found ourselves eating elsewhere. Would not recommend dinning there but staying there was good and we will return.

Sunset Shores was a great spot for my husband and I to spend a week in St Vincent. The location is ideal - not too far from the airport, walking distance to multiple restaurants, and right on the beach. The on-site restaurant was delicious and we enjoyed breakfast, lunch and dinners there. BBQ on Saturday night was a treat! Drinks were served at the poolside bar. Loungers were provided and you could move them to a poolside or beachside location. Our room was ocean view on the ground floor which I would highly recommend as it was nice and close to everything. We did a day trip to La Soufriere (only recommend for those in good hiking shape as it’s about 3 hours up and 3 hours down) and took the ferry to Bequia. Big highlights of Sunset Shores for us were the food, the relaxing atmosphere, and definitely the friendly staff (thank you Hudson, Tiffany, Ronnie and Margarita!).

Great place in a good location. Felt safe and had no problems what so ever. The only downside to Sunset shores was the resturant. Small portions and pricey. There is lots of options in the area within walking distance or a $2.50 bus ride away. 4 shells is a great option and on saturdays by the playing field they have a vendor selling local food which was spot on . Over all we liked sunset shores though. The staff were pleasant , manerly and accomadating. The grounds were well maintained.

A few quirks, but nice overall
There are many things to like about this hotel, but also a few things you should know before booking. The comfort is great, and staff are really friendly, though service at meals is quite slow. Speaking of meals, there's an extensive menu, but 60% or more of the items are unavailable on most days. Meals started with us asking what was available/not available, and plan for 90min for an average meal just because service is a bit slow. That said, staff are friendly and responsive to questions. The pool, location, and beach are nice. Check-in and check-out were really easy and friendly. Amenities in the rooms vary, as the hotel seems to get whatever is needed when it's needed, so the 3 rooms we had all had very different furniture, 1 was missing a clock, and the layout of the bathroom was pretty different. Internet in the restaurant/by the pool was really good. In the rooms, it could be quite bad in some spots.
