"It is very noisy at night ( Friday ).The bar next door plays loud music with people drinking in the street until 2am.!!!! Finally they go home at about 3am. It is such a shame because everything else is so good. I can not recommend it for this reason."

"Stayed here for one night. Grounds are very pretty and hotel is based on the side of quite a steep hill so quite a lot of stairs and ramps. There are some lifts to parts of property but not all and they are in odd locations, for example one led to a pitch black banquet hall that you needed to pass through. "You should not book this place if you do not plan to cook daily. It is just like a studio ( kitchen with a bed and a sofa in the same room). The room is very plain with no decoration. Other than check in frond desk, there is no service like hotel. Even front desk, the door is locked with no body before 9:00am. Someone will send you breakfast but all cold pre order grocery items. It really is just a self serviced studio apartment. Not sure where the 4 star rating coming from. I only can give 2.5...

"Warmly welcomed by the lovely Lucia & her husband, her place is perfectly positioned in the central part of Oppido making it very walkable to all the interesting points in the awesome cultural town, the locals are all so hospitable, it was an extreme pleasure to visit my mum‘s hometown. Lucia’s home is lager than expected, 3 double bedrooms & 2 bath rooms, 6 to 10 people could easily stay here, full kitchen & nice courtyard, nothing more needed in this home."

"Wonderful ambience, quick walk to cruise terminal. Our luggage was lost by Delta, so we were quite late arriving and I felt very sorry for the gentleman who had to wait up (very late) to let us in. Fantastic shower — didn’t want to get out! Room was very clean, super comfy. We had two bedrooms with a little connecting area, which is perfect for families or people who are traveling together but want separate rooms. Typical continental breakfast; server squeezed fresh orange juice for us which was a nice treat. Beautiful historic building in a charming neighborhood. Great value for the price. Would definitely stay here again. "
