"The hotel has an old school charm that can’t be replicated. My room was spacious, comfortable and the fruit bowl there on arrival was a nice touch. A little dark as it was on the road side of the building. Good selection at breakfast - make sure to take a table on the terrace if you can. The

was thoroughly enjoyable but nervous swimmers should know that the lake is 7 metres deep at this point. The free hour on the rowing boat was a great bonus. Staff were very friendly and helpful....
