"The beds were incredibly comfortable and the staff were very friendly. The rooms are a little tight, and the service can be a little slow in the lobby at busy times, but I would recommend the place without hesitation. It has a fantastic family atmosphere, too."

"The best thing about this property is convenience: ski school, bus stop, ski rental, ski lift etc everything around the property.
The worst thing is that you arrive in a room cleaned by the previous guests. Hygiene 0.

"We spent 7 nights at Le Chalet and we would go back, it was a very nice stay, the apartment is spacious, the SPA is nice, only complain is that the swimming pool should be warmer! great hotel to explore Les 3 Vallees.

"Déçu car en arrivant sauna en panne pour 15 jours! (alors qu'il nous avait été dit au téléphone qu'il fonctionnait) puis douche de la piscine sans eau chaude et obligé d'aller demander à l'accueil le necessaire pour faire le ménage

" Should have read the reviews before booking, I experienced most of the negative comments i read in the reviews including unfriendly and unhelpful staff ( rarely someone at reception even at advertised times), penny pinching and hidden costs ( had to pay for sheets and pillow cases and buy our own toilet roll) no parking, an advertised pool that shut at at 6pm, a broken Jacuzzi. "Check in procedure was diabolical. No clear signs, no clear idea what building to check into. People milling about with absolutely no idea where to go. We walked (no mean feat in the mountains) to one building as there were no signs on the building the email directed us to, and luckily, they found our booking, but we were at the wrong hotel. "Had an amazing stay at the altapura, read a few reviews a few days before we went and were worried, but it was great. Main complaints were about how hot the rooms were, which were understandable, but opening the window solved that. The other critique we read was about the restaurants and choice of food for half board. Breakfast was buffet and had a great selection. Dinner you get 65 euros contribution each evening towards food, which you can choose from the menu of the 3 different restaurants they have. European, Japanese and a cheese place. The food is all cooked fresh and to a great standard. The staff were really friendly and helpful, the hotel is in my opnion in the perfect location, ski in skin out, not far from several ski lifts, but not in thr centre of town so you don't get all the noise and footfall. Beds were really comfy, overall had a great experience and will be back next year! "
