"Very clean and beautiful hotel and nice and quiet. Rooms were a little on the cool side which was nice for sleeping. We ate an outstanding meal at the restaurant, we had beef cheeks and guineafowl. The staff was very attentive and serviceminded. Plenty of parking. Definitely worth a visit."

"When I arrived at this property the owner finally answered the door, she said she had no knowledge of my booking. Finally I had to email her a copy of my confirmation. This wasn't made any easier by her statement that "she spoke no English" - the website clearly states multilingual staff. (In fact it later became clear she did speak English). The 'living-room' is actually set out as a shop and did not feel welcoming - I was not invited to use it anyway. The only restaurant in Salives was unable...

"We received a warm welcome, our family room was very well appointed and comfortable. The evening meal and breakfast were both excellent. Really lovely hosts who made us feel extremely welcome. Would happily return."
