Disliked: Amenities, property conditions & facilities
Compared with hotels in the USA, I would describe this property more as a very basic, run-down motel than a hotel. The building is old, located in a very isolated area, and unfortunately appears to be in significant need of maintenance and renovation.
The room was not very clean, and the overall condition of the property gave the impression that it is slowly falling into decay. The walls are extremely thin, so you can hear almost everything happening outside your room, including people walking by and talking. To make matters worse, cigarette smoke from people smoking outside easily enters the room, which makes the stay even more unpleasant.
The restaurant next door was another disappointment. Apparently, you need to make an advance reservation for them to prepare food for you. If you don't reserve ahead of time, you may simply be out of luck — not exactly convenient for travelers who just arrived and need something to eat.
I will say that the staff were friendly and somewhat helpful, and I appreciate their attitude despite the shortcomings of the property.
Unfortunately, the condition, cleanliness, noise, location, and overall experience make it very difficult for me to recommend this place. Based on my experience, I would not stay here again, and I would not recommend it to other travelers.
