This was my first stay in Germany and the hotel was great, they served breakfast every morning and they were able to recommend great alternatives over the weekend. The staff also spoke English which was a plus for me.

Big room, very nice bathroom, friendly staff on reception. Breakfast was a little hectic with some guests pushing in. Car park privately owned so have to get ticket validated every time. Comfortable bed. Overall quite pleasant!

Aircondition unit does not work. Called the reception disk. Told me to increase the fan. Its 74 degress in my room. We are sweating bullets. We open the windows but our room is facing the main road so road noise prevent us from sleeping soundly. Took 2 showers just to make myself comfortable.

Modern, spacious and comfortable room. Quiet hotel with a restaurant. Good breakfast spread. Quiet area with easy and plentiful parking lots. Convenient base to explore the Black Forest region.

Property was very well kept. Nice and economical parking. AC in the room did not go below 23.5 C, the room was very warm inside and the hotel did not had floor or desk fans available. Tried to sleep with window open for a little comfort but room was facing main road, too loud for the window to stay open.

Spontaneous Trip
We booked at the last minute on a spontaneous trip to the Black Forest. The staff was welcoming and the room was very clean with all necessary amenities. It has everything we could have wanted and accommodated our two dogs as well.

Efficient service, excellent stay
While visiting Germany, one child and mother had to have a stay in hospital next to the hotel. The holiday inn made everything easy for me and other child under otherwise trying circumstances.

Amazing Hotel
I enjoyed 2 nights at this beautiful modern hotel. Receptionist was very helpful and co-operative( i do not recall her name ). I had a problem with my rented car, she offered to call them and was very patient with them. I really appreciate that, she solved my problem. The hotel is new and so clean and beautifully decorated in a very quiet and beautiful area.

Great stay!
Our stay was fantastic we went on a quick trip to the Black Forest. The hotel is 20-30 min from Black Forest even though is not the most convenient I don’t regret staying here breakfast was great, service was great, room was clean and comfy. I would definitely stay here again.

Excellent New Hotel
The Holiday Inn Villingen - Schwenningen is brand new, spacious, and ideally situated as a stop-over point while viewing the Black Forest region. The hotel staff were all so kind and helpful. Due to our late arrival, we chose to eat in the hotel restaurant. The menu has a little something for everyone and the food was prepared wonderfully. There is plenty of common space allocated to the lobby and restaurant that this would be great for larger groups. I would definitely recommend it as an affordable and comfortable option in the area.

Very clean and almost new hotel. Great for business travel, but not much else around for those looking to take in the sites. Hotel staff was friendly and helpful, but service was a little clunky as it seemed several were learning their jobs. Overall, great room for the price and service should improve in the weeks ahead.

Das Hotel ist sehr gut gelegen zwischen Villingen und Schwenningen, ist relativ neu und die Innenausstatung der Zimmer, ist super schön vor allem die Bar und der Launch Bereich. Das Personal super freundliche und nett. Ich kann das nur empfehlen.

Schöne Hotelzimmer, sehr ruhig und sehr sauber. Ich wollte am Abend im Hotel essen und habe mich nach der Ankunft nach den Zeiten erkundigt. Es hiess in einen nicht gerade höflichen Ton ab 18 Uhr. Weil ich so lange unterwegs war und hunger hatte gingen wir zu zweit um 18 Uhr ins Restaurant. Das Personal war nicht freundlich und antwortete ah zwei Personen Abendessen... sie hätten jetzt keine Zeit, weil eine Gruppe komme und wir sollen doch in frühstens 45 Min wieder kommen.... ausser uns war niemend dort und das Buffet für die Gruppe war schon vollständig bereit. Die hatten es wohl nicht nötig. Beim Frühstück gabs dann zum glück eine tolle Auswahl aber als das Besteck ausgeging und ich höflich um eine Gabel und einen Löffel gebeten habe, wurde mir in einem genervten Ton geantwortet ich solle doch selber schauen es habe genug. Als ich mitteilte nein eben nicht, lief die Frau wegg. Als sie wieder kam zeigte ich ihr die leeren Behälter und erst dann holte sie was. Es ist schade, dass ein so wunderschönes Hotel so unfreundliches Personal beschäftigt. Ich hätte mich wohler gefühtlt wenn ich netter behandelt worden wäre. Uch erwarte nicht, dass ich angelächelt werde aber wenigstens ein bisschen mehr Interesse für die Gäste wäre schon wünschenswert.

Wir hatten in dem IHG Hotel in Ringsheim sehr gute Erfahrungen gemacht deshalb haben wir uns für unsere Rückfahrt das IHG-Hotel in Villingen Schwenningen entschieden. Leider gibt es wohl sehr große Unterschiede. Wir wurden darauf hingewiesen, dass wir kein Frühstück gebucht hätten, was jedoch nicht den Tatsachen entsprach. Wir konnten jedoch schriftlich beweisen, dass dies nicht der Fall war. Zu unserem Ärger, wollte das Hotel das anfangs nicht akzeptieren. Eine für uns sehr peinliche Situation an der Rezeption da vermeintlich unbeteiligte Personen alles live miterlebten. Erst nachdem wir gefrustet auf ein Frühstück verzichten wollten, bekamen wir einen Anruf im Zimmer mit der Nachricht, dass wir nach Rücksprache mit Expedia nun doch unser gebuchtes Frühstück bekommen werden. Schlussendlich haben wir den Verdacht, dass hier eine Betrugsmasche vorliegt. Auch die Müllsituation im Außenbereich müßte dringend verbessert werden ( überquellende Tonnen in der Sonne, umgekippt und nicht wieder aufgestellt).

Muito bom hotel
Hotel muito novo. Quarto silencioso, muito espaçoso, chuveiro agradável. Café da manhã super completo. Atendimento estava ok, mas podia ser melhor (alguma dificuldade do pessoal da recepção com o idioma inglês). Ponto fraco foi a ausência de carregador para carros elétricos.
