"Absolutely beautiful property, excellently maintained. We had the Loge du Gardien which was everything we could have hoped for. Photos on Expedia actually don’t give it justice, the house is superb. Our teenagers loved the private hot tub with built in Bluetooth speakers. I would absolutely stay here again. "

"Such an idyllic and beautiful place surrounded by stunning lakes and lush forests. It was truly a beautiful one night stay that I wish could’ve lasted longer. We will surely be back for a longer stay as there was so much that myself and my son (8) wanted to do like paddle boarding, pedal boats and horse riding too! "Excellent stay at the property. It was very clean and tidy with everything that we would need for a night's stay before contuining south. The grounds are secured by gates. The owner was extremely friendly and helpful, with great restaurant recommendations. We will definitely return. "
"Despite the booking confirmation saying check-in was open until 1900, we arrived at 1615 only to find it shut until 1800 - duh - nearly every other hotel I've stayed in welcomes guests from 1500 at the earliest...to compound the problem, I received a text from the hotel the evening after we had left telling us what the check-in times were!

One downside the toilet cistern wouldn’t stop all night!!😢 also horrid smell from the loo.. (reported to receptionist- didn’t seem to concerned!

"Spacious apartment. Good connections for excursions in the area of Baie de Somme. Right next to the old town of Abbeville for a coffee on the terras or a baguette from the local bakery. Indoors the résidence it is quite warm, probably why it is a retirement home. All-in-all recommended."

"This is a lovely 'gites' and an excellent choice for a two adults and two older children. There's quite a steep staircase to a mezzanine floor where the kids beds are so it may not be so good for smaller children. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. The family apartment is very spacious and nicely decorated and is situated in the old groundskeeper's lodge. Best of all you get a massive garden in the back to yourself, and a covered and secluded hottub too. Excellent!"

"What a beautiful place. Antoine and Charlotte have renovated the building in the most cosy and welcoming style. They are fantastic hosts. Nothing is too much trouble. Breakfast was delicious.
We loved the pool which was a perfect temperature and the outdoor chairs for soaking up the afternoon and evening sunshine.
Just 20 minutes from St Valery sur Somme, we enjoyed the train ride around the bay to Le Crotoy and spent the afternoon exploring beautiful St Valery.
We loved this place and the location. Highly recommended."
