Property was partly under construction. Located in some kind of Industrial area where restaurants etc close at 9pm. Generally a used condition. Not the most pleasant stay. But at least bed was good and clean.

very unfriendly staff. although rooms were free and they knew that extensive and noisy construction work was taking place near my room, they gave me this dark room excrement. bathroom tiny. Room is not cleaned unless you ask for it the day before.

Rummet var helt fantastiskt stort och skön säng . Lite lyhört och frukostbuffén var liten men barnen var nöjda. Hade önskat att badrummet var städat lite noggrannare och att det fanns morgonrock så att man kunde gå till poolen i det då det inte fanns ett ordentligt omklädningsrum.

Værelset levede ikke op til forventningerne på billedet og vi havde ikke fået indtrykket af, at det lå i et industriområde. Køkkenet var nærmest tomt og tingene var meget slidte, hvilket gjorde det svært at lave mad. Der kunne godt være gjort opmærksom på, at alle basisvarer fra bagepapir til salt skulle medbringes. Trappen var også meget stejl og havde halve forskudte trin, hvilket gjorde, at vi ikke kunne lade børnene bruge den og dermed hele hemsen med halvdele af sovepladserne. Det eneste positive ved opholdet var vaflerne i morgenmads buffeten.

Hotell nära Astrid Lindgrens värld

Service vid incheck samt restaurangen var toppen. Maten var långt över förväntan. Super nöjda och besöker gärna hotellet igen vid nästa besök av Astrid Lindgrens värld. Vi hörde tåget endast när vi satt på balkongen men det var sällan det passerade. Inget som störde utan barnen sprang ut för att titta på det med glädje den gången vi hörde det. När vi hade stängd dörr så hördes det inget alls.

Magisk opphold i Vimmerby.

Hele oppholdet i Vimmerby var magisk. Elsker Astrid Lindgren og hennes fortellinger. Var og så Astrids bardomshjem, besøkte Katthult, Bullerbyen og Filmbyen. Småland er et fantastisk sted, veldig koselig med sine røde, karasteristiske "stugor". Kunne virkelig føke at man ble satt tilbake til tiden som "Emil" levde på Katthult. Hotell Ronja var et forholdsvis eldre hotell, med mange spesielle utforminger, påbygg osv. Det var rent og hadde en flott sjarm. Resepsjonsbetjeningen var veldig hyggelig og omsorgsfull. Villig til å bidra til at oppholdet vårt i Vimmerby ble minnerikt ved at de kom med forslag til hva man kunne gjøre og oppleve i den tiden vi hadde til rådighet. Vil aldri glemme dette og jeg drar dit gjerne igjen.

Undvik det här hotellet – inte värt pengarna

Jag hade tyvärr en mycket negativ upplevelse på det här hotellet. Rummet kändes snuskigt och ofräscht. Vattnet i duschen växlade temperatur hela tiden beroende på om någon annan i byggnaden använde vatten – inte direkt en avkopplande upplevelse. Därtill var duschdraperiet mögligt, och toalettpapperskorgen var gammal, rostig och äcklig. Receptionen såg ständigt rörig och oorganiserad ut, vilket gav ett dåligt första intryck. Frukostbuffén var en stor besvikelse – väldigt enkel, nästan bara de billigaste råvarorna, och mycket begränsat utbud. Inget som höll hotellstandard. Hotellet var dessutom dyrt, och det kändes verkligen inte som om det var värt priset. Allt var slitet och kändes eftersatt. Det enda positiva jag kan säga är att sängarna faktiskt var bekväma och sköna att sova i – men det räcker tyvärr inte för att väga upp för resten. Jag rekommenderar inte detta hotell.

Hotell nära ALV

Vi bodde två nätter på hotellet. Första rummet vi fick var ofräscht, dåligt städat och luktade unket. Vi fick byta till ett annat rum och det kändes inte heller så trevligt eftersom det saknades fönster och möjlighet att vädra. Men AC fanns. Sängarna var slitna och borde bytas ut. Vår upplevelse är att delar av hotellet är i behov av renovering. Personalen var hjälpsamma. Frukosten var ok, men det saknades kylplatta till smöret och pålägget. Hotellet ligger lite avsides från Astrid Lindgrens värld samt centrum, så man kan gå men det tar 20- 30 min. Wifi finns att tillgå.

Lidt skuffende familieferie

Vi boede i værelset med tilhørende køkken. Værelset i sig selv var rigtig fint, men køkkenet var meget sparsomt. Der var fx kun en gryde, hvilket gør det lidt svært at lave mad til 5 personer. Det var også presset at skulle sidde 5 personer omkring spisebordet Den tilhørende morgenmad var god. Desværre mødte vi op til et Hotel med en pool der ikke var brugbar. Den info havde vi ikke fået inden vi tog afsted, men fik først besked da vi stod på hoetellet. Vi stod derfor med 3 meget skuffede børn, da poolen netop havde været afgørende for at vi valgte lige præcis det hotel. Vi betalte samme pris på trods af den ikke brugbare pool, så vi føler desværre ikke vi har fået det vi betalte for.
