"This was the first hotel that we have ever stayed in where there is literally not a single staff member in the hotel overnight. Check-in is meant to be from 1.00 pm but when we arrived at 5.00 pm the hotel was deserted. We sat in a pub in the square until 6.30 pm by which time a member of staff had driven up. We had magret de canard for dinner but the fat was raw having not been rendered. The same female staff member was the receptionist, the cleaner, the barmaid and the chef. On our second day's breakfast the only bread provided was sliced from the supermarket, a first in our experience. That being said, if all you want is a comfortable bed and save money to spend on dinner elsewhere then go for it!"

"Most helpful we have to large dogs so they upgraded us to a room downstairs so we could go straight on to the grass We had room service on time and hot Staff could not have been more helpful "
