Hotels near Virgin Falls State Natural Area

"Internet access is pretty bad. Couldnt get my laptop to get past the required login page. Called tech support. They decided to have me permanently bypass their login page by providing my mac address. Getting my tablet to connect much less get to their login page was also extremely frustrating. Often times took 5 to 6 tries before the login page would even show. Problem existing regardless of where I tried in the hotel. Once the laptop or tablet connected, the internet was extremely slow with lots of timeouts (or buffering if attempting to stream). And since I stayed for the week and hotel vacancy in the middle of the week was pretty high, poor internet performance cannot be blamed on overcrowding. Very frustrating. I also rented a suite (kingsize bed and a sitting area). The sitting area was essentially useless because there were no lights (no sconces, no corner lights, no table lights, etc.) in the area. The couch and lounge area were just too dark to be used even with all the lights turned on in the rest of the room. Very disappointing. On the plus side, the front desk staff were friendly and helpful. The room maids paid attention to detail and were equally friendly and helpful."

"Always cold water to make tea. Microwave broken, pool down, toilet constant drip. Staff was above friendly."

"Left our room after 30 seconds because of the smell of mold. Staff said they would refund us our money for our multi night stay, but then later decided it was not their problem and we would receive no refund. I highly recommend staying anywhere but here."

"The room was clean. the staff was very helpful. Parking was good. The pool and area looked very clean - I wanted to take the kids but was too busy. The beds were very comfy. Would definitely recommend it. However we could hear people walk above us and people on the other side of wall of the bed. In turn that probably meant some people could hear my kids"
