"This is a beautiful hotel with attentive and caring staff. We felt extremely well taken care during our stay - the staff were so accommodating - helping us find restaurants and arranging transportation. The hotel itself is munificent with large comfortable rooms and well-designed public spaces. And, there was a free chocolate tasting in the lobby on the evenings that we were there! It is also conveniently located a short walk from restaurants, shopping, and plazas. While it's always important to stay aware of your surroundings - we felt very safe in this neighborhood. One thing to keep in mind - this is a festive part of town, so occasionally the roads around the hotel were shut down to accommodate bikers and street parties. This part of the charm of the experience; but it also sometimes made transportation to/from the hotel a bit challenging (but not terribly so) . Overall, we couldn't have been happier about our stay here and would absolutely stay again when we are back in Quito. Highly recommended!"

"Amazing hotel, James was extremely helpful, breakfast was nice, typical of all the hotels I used in Ecuador. Location to Old Town was excellent and only a $15 cab from historic equatorial line (mitad del Mundo) Only point I'd make is for some the hotel may feel cold although there is a tower heater in the bedroom which worked well. "
