"Had a wonderful 5 night stay at the hotel. I was a bit apprehensive after reading some reviews but i was pleasantly surprised. Lovely welcome from check in staff and given lots of information about the hotel and surrounding area. Hotel lobby is impressive, superior double room was spacious, clean and aircon worked perfectly.
Breakfast was plentiful and you can order different eggs/bacon from the waitress. My only very small gripe would be that the toaster took ages so put your toast on whilst you enjoy some cereal!
The lifts were mentioned in alot of other reviews, to be honest it would be better if all 3 were working but we never had long to wait and we were on holiday so not in a hurry to get anywhere.
Central location right by lots of bars/ restaurants and a very short walk to the Rhine.
Loved our visit to the hotel and to Cologne, we will be back to visit you both again"
"I'm a bit of a hotel snob so I was skeptical at first regarding the (too good to be true) room rate. However, this hotel checked all the boxes. The staff was highly professional and warm. In our in and outs of the day and evening we must have met everyone who worked here and we were greeted, asked if everything was okay. The rooms were clean, clean, clean. The beds were comfortable. And the location can't be beat. It checked off all of my boxes and then some. If there was a complaint it would be the shower. I don't care for the European folding glass door thing on the bathtub and getting out of its depth feels a bit perilous but overall, a stellar experience. I would stay here again in a minute no need to search for another property. "
