This is a historic property, and you can definitely feel its charm—some of the floors squeak, adding to the character of the place. It almost feels like you're staying in a museum, with rooms decorated in antiques and vintage touches throughout. There are several cozy common areas where guests can relax and unwind. The location is excellent—if you're arriving by train, the station is right outside the hotel. If you're driving, there’s convenient parking available, and the hotel is just a short drive from some truly beautiful spots in the area.

Voss is in the center of many day trips you can do

great location to explore the region using the tourist info office locted conveniently below the train station very near the hotel.

There were a large Norwegian team that stayed over and overtook the ski rooms. Unfortunately, they were not smart enough as they blocked access ways of a door and ramp by placing their equipment in front of it. This made it a hazard especially for children. The poor review is due to the hotel’s ignorance to the situation after they were notified.

Great one night stay

Great one night stay - friendly staff on arrival, well maintained historic hotel with spacious and comfortable single room with basic amenities, like kettle and TV. Fantastic breakfast, good spread and eating in the beautiful ballroom. Swimming pool with good changing facilities - could maybe use a revamp but still good in current state. Overall, I would recommend if staying around the area as convenient for all things nearby.

Great hotel and breakfast

Very close to train and bus (which worked well for us). We had a hiccup at check in, but all was resolved. Great breakfast. Room had a sitting area, the extra space was great. We did not get a chance to enjoy the pool.

This is a world-class hotel with a very convenient location close to the train and bus station in Voss. Great value for the nightly rate. Excellent views of the Voss lake from our room and the terrace. We highly recommend this hotel.
