"We had a two night stay here as a family of 4. It was perfect for our trip to Efteling. The studio had everything we needed and was super quiet. We had yummy food in the restaurant on the second night and enjoyed staying in this beautiful little town. Highly recommend! Five stars from us all! Oh, and we also successfully charged our car with the hotels charging point."

"The property is beautiful and very well located, but the staff are truly incredible. Merijn was wonderful and managed to remember our name and room number after seeing us once, and major shout out to Halil for saving us when we left our passports in the safe (and then checked out and left, we realized at the train station!). The bed was on the more comfortable end for hotels (I'm picky), and the only thing that was suboptimal was the street noise on Friday night from a nearby club/bar. The rest of the week (Sunday through Thursday nights) we heard nothing at all). It's very near lots of food and shopping, literally within steps. The entrance to the hotel is on a cobblestone street that the cars can't really get to, so anticipate having to get yourself and your luggage about a block from the taxi drop off to the hotel doors. We have nothing but good things to say about the staff and the hotel, and definitely recommend it."

"Hotel Bastion is a comfortable hotel within easy walking distance of Tilburg town centre. The friendly staff were welcoming and very helpful. Overall Bastion is ideal for a weekend break exploring the Tilburg area."

"From 7:15 in the morning there was continuous loud noise by workers operating all sorts of machines. After calling the reception nothing was done. Don't book this hotel, they don't respect sleeping and their customers at all. Worst hotel experience ever! "

"The staff when I checked in (Harry) was very very good and friendly, he was so nice and welcoming. Unfortunately I was disappointed as the hotel had bed bugs. I spent whole night itching and scratching. When I woke up, my whole body had bites and all red. Very uncomfortable, I informed the lady in the reception but she was not understanding and at most she said she will send the cleaner to clean the room. Not happy with that outcome "
