"Had a two night stay here for a tour of the Maginot line. The owner is a lovely man who goes out of his way to make sure his guests are well looked after. We are in the restaurant one night which was very good value and again staff were excellent. The rooms lack a few amenities like coffee machine but overall a great little hotel which was very good value for money "

"We were warmly greeted and farewelled by the staff. The hotel is rustic, clean and comfortable. Great location walking distance to all the main sites, restaurants and bars. Street parking was easy, but we were in the off season. Rooms were clean, on the smaller size, but not uncomfortable. No tea/coffee facilities. For any poor comments the location and the ambience of the hotel and village overcame the small issues. Great stay and would recommend."

"One of the sink was completely blocked. Hairdryer not working. We can hear noise everywhere. I wasn't told I need to pay extra taxe per person and night. The staff was okay. Its honesty over price for what is it. Better going for air bnb next time. "

"The hotel location was perfect! Just a few minutes walk from all the events at the center of town. The room was spotless, the bedding very comfortable and great quality. The staff was very friendly and helpful but they were so short staffed they were unable to hold our luggage until the afternoon on our departure day ( because they would need to close the hotel for a few hours). There was no other luggage storage option in town so we had to walk around with our luggage for 3 hours ( until our train departure time). For a 4 star hotel, that was not great…"

"Who doesn’t want to stop in a castle? Really nice rooms, great parking (after 6pm you can park inside the castle) especially if your on a motorcycle "

"Set in a very old converted granary, the accommodation had plenty of character Typical of a French stay, the host was very friendly and helpful Loads of interesting artifacts Our too was good with an ultra modern bathroom Good breakfast Definitely stay again"
