"I booked this Microtel for 3 nights while working travel PRNs and checked out early after night two—should’ve trusted my instincts sooner. Let’s start with the “clean” towels that came with a dirty hand towel folded right in the stack. Nothing like a little surprise to make you question everything else in the room. The blackout curtains? Yeah… not exactly blacking anything out. And the “soundproof” rooms must be a joke—I could hear everything, and I mean everything. I work nights and tried to sleep during the day, but between constant banging and hallway noise, that was basically impossible. Breakfast is… well, calling it breakfast is generous. And the shower? Slow drainage turned it into a mini pool while I was standing in it. Nothing like finishing a shower and somehow feeling less clean than when you started. Overall, if you value sleep, cleanliness, or basic comfort, I’d strongly recommend looking elsewhere."

"Rooms are dated, toilets are slow to fill, our refrigerator leaked water, there seemed to be a sewage odor on the first floor near the elevator. On the bright side, the breakfast is great, the staff very professional, and outdoor facilities are nice."

"Very quaint refurbished inn. Rooms nicely appointed but the all foam mattress gave no support. Felt like I was sleeping in a hammock. Internet was great, tv was great, breakfast was fair if you like cereal, waffles, bread, and fruit. But guests ALWAYS remember the mattress."

"Our room didn't have a toilet paper roll holder, had a falling tile over the shower with tape falling off of it, & had an outlet without an outlet cover directly under the only table/desk area with a giant hairball directly underneath it. The bathroom door did not have a latch mechanism on the handle, so it wouldn't close. The facility seems to be a bit out of repair. The pool looked nice but as it was outside in 60° weather we did not have the opportunity to take advantage of it. We also were not able to take advantage of the available "breakfast option" as it ended too early for us. The staff that we interacted with were very nice. I didn't bother to complain about the condition of our room as it was clean on the surface. I did notice the one time that I went barefoot without my slippers- the last night- that my feet were filthy. The washcloth turned brown when I washed my feet. The one ice machine was located in another building halfway down the long building, up a staircase, outside. The laundry facilities were right next to it. It was affordable. So maybe that is why it is in disrepair. The outer door to the building we were in(there were several) did not have a lock on it. Anyone could walk in & have access to the room doors. The property outside seemed to be well maintained- grounds were clean & tidy. "
