"Okay I will be honest the property is old and has a musty smell, but I expected it because it's old, however it is clean. The carpet was stained so definitely wear socks or slippers but it wasn't dirty. The bed was very comfortable and that's all I care about because when you are on vacation you really only use it to sleep anyway. The view was beautiful and every room has a marina view. The staff was professional and very helpful. We felt safe even though at first sight we were a little nervous. Fun fact is if you are going to Astoria for a Goonies adventure, the crew and actors actually stayed at this property while filming the movie and I thought that was so cool."

And we were on oceanside rooms which also meant main road through Long Beach. It didn't bother me but my husband had a hard time sleeping with the road noises. It was a good location for going to pubs and dining. It was October so many businesses didn't open during the week."
