"It was our first time to the Island. We were intrigued by the price. Significantly less than other resorts. It’s centrally located allowing easy access to the north or south parts of the island. The front desk staff were amazing and very helpful. What we didn’t know was it’s on the rainy side of the island and it’s an older resort, however well maintained. Pools were excellent. "We were in a garden view room on the first floor, and it was very nice. It was great to have a cup of coffee on the lanai the morning, or sit in the evening and hear the music. Very convenient having the Marketplace right next door with shops and eateries. Kauai Shores is conveniently located on the island. Very close to the airport, not a far drive to beaches or other attractions. Would stay there again!"
