"Great place to stay. Room was very spacious (esp. after dogbox in Auckland) clean and tidy. OK, it is not new, but everything was in working order and full stove, fridge and microwave, plus plenty of utensils, made cooking easy. They also have a small, but adequate, gym on site. We had to hole up here during Cyclone Gabrielle and it was fine for the three nights we stayed. Staff and owners were very helpful and chatty. Bonus was being able to watch T20 Womens World Cup on TV!"

"The lady of the property took time to ring and advise me of the spa not working properly, as it wasn’t working when we stayed a couple days before hand. she wanted to know how we felt about still booking before she took the payment out 😊 that was top notch 👌 not only that, she also went and warmed the room up for us as we were arriving 5 minutes before the last check in time at 7pm, so it was nice n cosy when we got in. Awesome service"

"Came for an overnight stay, were settled into our room fast and given internet access for free. The area was quit until the neighbouring property started mulching trees, there were books with lists of restaurants and other conveniences provided and the use of sky tv, coffee tea etc. Everything in the room was neat and well presented, the room was clean. "Great location, with only a short walk to the beach. We had a room that went straight out to the pool that was convenient for the kids. It was quiet here which was nice. The only down side was limited parking, we did have a parking space for our room but someone else parked there, although the staff did arrange for the car to be moved. There was not a lot of space to turn around a large vehicle. "
