Wairoa Overnight

Great hotel. Perfect to stop and break up the trip between Lake Waikaremoana, Mahia and then back to Napier. Double room unit, ideal for a family where kids require their own room. Had a good supplied kitchenette will all the required necessities.

Let’s be fair the place could use an update but had a smooth (and somewhat funny) check in with a cool little 3-legged dog manning reception. Didn’t end up actually staying due to personal circumstance but from what I saw the place was in pretty good nick for what I paid. My studio was HUGE, beds felt comfy, staff were chill and friendly (we like chill) and a nice, quiet environment

Vista is an older motel but completely adequate for a longer stay than normal over Xmas. Staff lovely.
