The owners of the Waitomo Caves Guest Lodge were absolutely delightful. Richie gave us lots of great information about Waitomo and great tips to enjoy the area. We greatly enjoyed the hospitality and the stay.

There really isn't much in the area, but anything that was there was included in a very helpful binder. The room was very comfortable and Richy was a hoot! Excellent host. I would recommend this property. Looking at the rooms, we weren't sure what to expect, but it was a great stay!

Good value in Waitomo

The hotel is in a great location for the Waitomo Caves, the waterfall, the Natural Bridge, and just nice rolling hills. Our room was secluded and had everything we needed for our stay. The property has nice vegetation and a nice deck to sit on.
