"Rohr’s is the best eating option on campus, but is not elevated food; for that, off-campus is a better bet. While a good stay, our party had trouble finding lobby seating to meet guests…the lobby lizards from nearby halls takeover the area and use it as their living room. If I were a student, I would as well! But this should be discouraged during peak occupancy on weekends. Otherwise, the room was great and the staff exceedingly pleasant!"
"The staff and checkin process was great. The gym was clean and we did see staff cleaning the floors while we were there. The room itself wasn’t great with the stains in the tub, a questionable stain/leak in the ceiling, and carpet was FILTHY. Obviously any hotel carpet is going to have some dirt, but my kids socks were the deepest brown/black after walking around the room (the one thing I didn’t think to get a picture of). We were also given a handicap room (not entirely sure why) and the thermostat was set to 80 (in April) when we entered the room 😑 which was very uncomfortable for a while until it cooled."
"The hotel is being renovated but thay have done a nice job of getting the flow to work. The room was spacious and very clean and comfortable. The staff was terrific."
"Staff very pleasant. Hotel advertises indoor pool but has not been operational since covid. The tub didnt work and only has 2 local news channels on the tvs."
"We attended a concert in nearby Shipshewana IN, and looked for a more budget friendly hotel than those offered in Shipshewana. Reviews indicated this Best Western was a good choice - and it was! The room was clean and quiet, the staff was friendly, and the Continental breakfast was good (4 kinds of dry cereal, a waffle maker, instant oatmeal, fresh fruit, and 2 kinds of bottled juice). At $40 cheaper than the Shipshewana hotels, it was a no brainer. We'll stay here again!"
