"Possibly the smallest room Ive ever stayed in. Bed was comfortable. Furniture was old and in poor shape, stained lampshade on the tiny desk. Glass door to bathroom so all light flooded thru there. Curtains did not meet in the middle in the bedroom. Bathroom was designed as a wet room, no shower curtain, awkward tiny 1cm "step" between toilet and shower. Kept falling over it. Windows and glass shelf in bathroom were very dirty. Tiled floor in bathroom very slippery when wet no mat provided....

"It’s odd that the main concern here is asking travellers to pay for their stay the moment they arrive/walk back in to the property/constantly. Payment on check-put is the norm and it’s strange to continually stay in places like this in Sri Lanka where they’re just obsessed with money. We’re all going to pay you for our stays - that’s normal. Please just let us be here and enjoy and pay on departure - which is standard. "

"Lovely stay at Dinsara Pearl Villa with Noah and his family. The Villa is a little guest house tucked right on the headland at cape Weligama. It’s a beautiful view to wake up to in the morning, you can even check the surf at fisherman‘s reef from the garden. The accommodation is modest, simple, but comfortable. "We had a wonderful stay at Angel Rest. The owners are very kind and helpful. We cooked in their kitchen, showed them some of our cuisine and got taught making crab curry. Its just 200m to the beach and 800m to the supermarket. The rooms and bathroom are new, bed is comfortable. We added two extra days."

"By far the best place we've stayed in on our trip. Here's why... Really quiet location away from the street noise/pollution. Very helpful, welcoming owners that don't bother you, yet go the extra mile to help (for example when I cut my foot open from too much beach dancing!). The room had all the subtle, useful things we often need as travellers...towels that are absorbent (not tissue paper! :-)), soap, spare loo roll, a knife (I used it to peel an orange), kettle, mosquito net that is...
