"Biggest fault was breakfast. Along with the standard waffles they had a pretend omelette with some orange goo inside that was probably supposed be cheese, but didn't even look like it let alone taste like it. And Biscuits and gravy, which I know has some fans, but I'm not among them. Notice no mention of meat, because there wasn't any meat. Not the worst I've had, but not very good. Room was nice and roomy, it has the 2 feet in width that so many seem to be lacking today. Heat-A/C was not good. A wall mounted stat where you could turn it on or off, set the temp and high or low fan speed, but not select what function you wanted, nor could you select fan only. It probably works fine on paper, maybe, maybe even on a temp recorder, but far less so in person. Not awful, but definitely not good. On the other hand, I've stayed in Ely a number of times over the years and only one other one was even mediocre, so by that scale it was great."

"I was only passing through one night and found the location clean even if it was an older property. They are working to keep it maintained and the room was clean and the bed comfortable. That is all I ask for."

"Room was clean and bed was comfortable. Definitely an older location with an odd slant to the floor, but you can tell the owners really care about the property. A/C worked amazing!! Nothing fancy, but the perfect place to spend the night while passing through the area. Great fast food Mexican across the street too."
