"The hotel staff is beyond the friendliest and most helpful staff I have ever encountered while traveling extensively. From the hotel manager, reception desk, the restaurant, and the housekeeping staff, everyone was incredible. We had a room facing the water, so it was incredible to look out the windows and clearly see the water and beach. The room was not noisy at all. Breakfast had lots of options and we ate dinner in the hotel almost every night. We already booked this hotel for next year for 10 days."

"I traveled from Ghana to visit Durban only for me to get to the Albany hotel in Durban only for me to be told i cant check in until after two meanwhile I got to the hotel from the airport around 8 am I asked for a refund and they refused to refund me so I need a refund back because I didn’t even sleep there at all "

"Wow, just the best , super friendly , and super hotel 24 hour room service was excellent Abou and Cinque and Busie names that I remember were exceptionally kind and attentive ( my apologies if I didn’t spell names correctly ) but everybody was great. "I love staying in old well-kept hotels. The Royal Hotel is a perfect example. I stayed on a high floor facing the harbor. Always something going on out there from a tiny lone sailboat to a whole sailboat race to a tugboat on mysterious course in the wee hours. "
