The parking lot is unlit and full of U-Haul rental trucks and large Asplundh tree trucks making it difficult at best to navigate their lot with a larger vehicle. Also had a broken toilet, really bad water pressure and towels that were stained and looked to be older than me(48yrs). The walls are paper thin as well so partying neighbors were up until at least 3am. In addition they are supposedly “non smoking” rooms, but room 113 smelled like someone had hot boxed an entire pack of unfiltered Camels 30 minutes before I checked in. No one at the desk to speak with about any of this so I will give a full report here. How anyone would give this place 5 stars is beyond me. 100% must be the owners leaving their own reviews. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.

When we arrived at the facility we noticed trash in parking lot and near building under windows. The parking lot lights barely work and makes it hard to see late at night. We had a 2 night reservation got into our room and immediately found a red sticky stain on the comforter clear as day with the bed neatly made. There is no way their housekeeper couldn't see it, probably didn't care. We went immediately downstairs and the front desk clerk switched our room downstairs. We went in and immediately clear as day all towels were used. The bath had used soap and some hair stuck to walls, the sink had hair from someone shaving still left in sink. So my husbund went to the other room to get the clean towels from 1st room and took the dirty towels to the 2nd room. The tv didn't work. The lock on the room was broken off and missing. Missing a light bulb from one lamp in room. The breakfast was terrible. We tried the waffles and the batter must have gone sour. We had cereal instead. The second day we chose to get our breakfast from Walmart. I was completely surprised for a Super 8 to be left with such filth. We should of asked for complete refund but we didn't have another place to go with short notice. Maintenance and housekeeping need to be trained or fired. We stay with Super 8 all the time for the last 22 years when we travel because they have high standards but not in Rochester, Indiana. Avoid staying here.

Our room was clean, when we arrived, but the heat wasn’t on, so it was FREEZING. The pillows on our bed were also awful, and the water pressure in our room definitely left a bit to be desired. The woman at the front desk was very nice, but the housekeeper was quite rude. Overall, we didn’t have a bad experience, but we wouldn’t stay there again if we didn’t have to.

Terrible. Things were great until i walked into the room. It smelt like mildew and mold. The A/C would only run for 10 minutes. Marks/missing paint on walls along with a lot of water damage in the bathroom. Then to top it off between 2am and 4am the fire alarm kept going off for no reason and kept waking me up. Worst hotel I’ve been to in awhile and I travel a lot!!

No shops really close. Air con fine. Worst part of trip was no lights in parking lot made us insecure. People sitting in cars and unknow if they were guests. As soon as we arrived there were two men smoking right out side the entrance door even though there is a sign that that state prohibited smoking within 8 feet of door.(see picture) brought it up at front desk and lady just shrugged her sholders.

I had to give my credit card number just to get my room after it had already been paid just to get my room. I’ve spent the last 5 yrs there on the same weekend and never had to do that. Got woke up at 3am by someone in the adjacent room screaming “I M DONE” and slamming the door plus slamming both doors to get outside to all three doors TWICE. plus they wouldn’t let me book a room for next year. Told me it was too far out! I have no plans on ever staying there again!! Good luck!

No very warm and fuzzy when you pull up and a bunch of people are hanging out in the parking lot by all the vehicles looking in. Parking lot not well lit. Walk up to my room and there’s a guy knocking on doors asking for toilet paper since there wasn’t any in his room. Room was clean-ish. Tub was gross. Front desk people not easily found. Waited over 30 min for someone to check me in. Overall worst experience at a Super 8. I checked out after 2hrs of being there. No questions asked by staff and no offer to make things right. Wasted $120 on a room I couldn’t stay in.
