"when we first got there, nobody was at front desk, which is fair because it’s a seasonal property but when we emailed and called there was no answer we waited around for an hour until 4 o’clock hit, which was check-in time and then we got our code for our room that’s fine but we drove four hours to get here. once we got our room, it was nice. The vibes were good. Bathroom is beautiful. Shower was great, but the bed was awful. Probably one of the most uncomfortable sleeps I’ve ever had in my life. My shoulders were sore the next day and my back and neck were also sore. not to mention when I was unloading my things into my room the guy was power washing the room next-door and spraying me down. and then we wake up the next day to him power washing again yet they say they save water by washing sheets every three days but the power washer is going 24 seven also pool closes too early. Nice vibe not much going on won’t go back."
"Best hotel in Sarnia. Good condition rooms. Wifi is great. I enjoyed my stay. Rudra the owner is very generous. He upgraded us to 2 bed room for free."
"It was a bit of a walk to my dorm room. Once there I was quite pleased with what I saw.
The bathroom was sizeable and the shower was cleaner and no mold like some of the other places. I had my internet connection so that lack of a tv was insignificant.
Thank You"
"We had a wonderful stay at Coastal Suites, our room was recently renovated, modern and clean, the location was convenient being right downtown, and the staff were terrific, courteous, professional and eager to make sure we had great stay."
"For an older crowd this resort is perfect, it's private and quiet. The private beach access is beautiful and allows for a relaxing getaway. The amenities are a bit dated and the TV didn't work great (but mostly didn't matter since we were on vacation to get outside, it's just when you want some down time or when the weather was bad it had limited channels and the reception cut in and out). The indoor pool is nice but the hot tub filter wasn't working the first night we were there so the water was dirty and the next day it was drained to empty (good it was being cleaned but unfortunately unusable). The on-site restaurant pub was great but a little pricey. Overall fairly good value and a nice place to stay if you don't want to hang with the twenty-something beach crowd. Golf course looked nice for a small 9 hole executive course. The grounds were pretty and lots of places to just sit and relax."
"Front desk staff member was very pleasant. Breakfast was great! We also appreciated the notice posted in the elevator that quiet time started at 10pm."
