"Great value for the price. The location was perfect for us as we were going to Science North- which is just across the street. Takes 2 minutes to walk there. Loved that I was able to plug in my hybrid car in the outdoor outlets without issue. The free breakfast was decent- one morning there was sausage and egg patties, where one could make an egg muffin sandwich. The next morning had scrambled eggs and sausage. There is also a great park right across the road with a boardwalk trail. Additionally, Bell Park is about a 5 minute drive away and has a lovely walk along the water. It’s also close to the restaurants we wanted to try. Highly recommend Okinawa Sushi and Holy Guacamole if you’re looking for authentic food!"
"Booked a one night stay for business. Hotel was clean, comfortable, and appropriate for this occasion. Staff were extremely friendly and accommodating. Breakfast items were as expected. "
"The hotel was just ok. It was definitely not as clean as it should be. The rooms were good for the most part, but the pool area was absolutely disgusting. We went Saturday morning as soon as it opened and it was filthy. The pool was cloudy, there was wet paper towel or chunks of paper all over the floor. There were big gobs of slimy hair on the floor drains on the pool deck and the area had clearly not been cleaned in a while. The bathrooms off of the pool area were also very dirty. The elevator was dirty as well as the fridge off the lobby containing items for guests to buy was quite gross.
We had a room with a pull out couch and when we pulled it out there were food crumbs and sand on the mattress (which did not have a mattress protector or cover) When asked if someone could clean it, we were told there was no housekeeping at that time of day, and we were only offered a different room when we restated that we could not sleep on that bed.
The employees seemed nice but they were definitely understaffed. There was only one person on the front desk at all times, and there was often a lineup of people waiting and the phone ringing, unanswered."
"The hotel is clean, pool area is clean. The pool is a little cooler than we like. Breakfast is good, fruits were disappointing and quite of rough looking. Coffee is gross. Rooms are a little smaller than we like, especially for a family"
