"Owner was pleasant at check in and explained services. Place is dated, but clean and room was good sized. Had a king room with a separate area with a queen bed, sitting area and kitchette. Bathroom was clean and shower had good pressure."
"1st - no dishes, silverware or cookware is included with your kitchenette. The property does have some they'll sell you. Housekeeping is only every 4th day, including trash removal.
That being said, the room layout was excellent, none of that wasted space that drives you crazy when you can't turn around in the bathroom. The air conditioning was on when we got there (90+ temps that day). Its a newer property but we did have issues the door latch and no maintenance person on site. It was clean and tidy but might have the slowest elevator I've ever been in. Luckily there are only 3 floors. Overall, not a bad stay."
"The location of the comfort inn is great and convenient for visitors to get around the shopping and dining in nearby towns. We loved the sweet tea and would have liked having sweet tea in addition to coffee in the lobby a few more breakfast items would be better. Our stay was comfortable and staff was friendly."
"the innkeeper was warm and welcoming, the food was delicious, the room was amazing, and the experience for even 1 night was incredible!! will be coming back :)"
Capitol Plaza Hotel Montpelier Tapestry Collection by Hilton
8/10 Good
"We had an unexpected stop due to car issues late at night, and Kathy at the check in desk was wonderful. Kind, welcoming, and even later checked to make sure we had enough towels. Gave us recommendations on where to eat later at night. We just passed through so didn’t get to utilize any of the amenities. A bit older with drop ceiling in rooms, but clean and very convenient."
"The Inn is very quaint, the rooms are decorated nicely, clean and all the amenities one could need. The staff is exceptionally friendly and helpful and the food delicious!"
"A well loved favorite of ours. The staff is absolutely amazing as is the delicious breakfast choices! Great location for everything we love to see and do."
