"Absolutely loved our stay here. It's a former palace and the room was huge with a wonderful patio. They had a excellent breakfast, the staff was awesome (shout out to Martina and Paolo). Would stay again in a second. The city is very walkable and Martina and Paolo were incredibly helpful with restaurants and sights. We did not want to leave."

"“The property was charming, and the room was perfect—clean, modern, and well-equipped with everything I needed. It’s clear that everything was thoughtfully designed for guest comfort and convenience. I’d definitely stay here again. Thank you! 😊”"

"The room was spacious and clean, comfortable bed, and Staff all very helpful and friendly. Breakfast is the same every day and very basic (e.g., 1 croissant per person, 1 type of cereal); no hot food or cheese or meat."

"I chose the Excelsior for its proximity to the train station, as I was arriving and leaving by train and also did an excursion by train to the Certosa nearby (which I highly recommend). It also was close enough to all of the other sights to be walkable. The room was spotlessly clean. Also, the city map provided by the hotel was excellent! Tourist maps often do not label all streets, or use printing so small that they are not user-friendly, but this one was great."

"In general everything was fine, the breakfast place is just around the corner unfortunately they did not offer any beer in the refrigorator and the refrigorator was quite dirty. Nevertheless we would come back again! Thank you for having us!"

"We recently stayed at The Bresbot Hotel, a charming old manor house currently undergoing renovations. Despite the ongoing work, our visit was fantastic. The owner went above and beyond to ensure our comfort throughout our stay. He even provided directions to a delightful local restaurant nearby, where the food was exceptional. The hotel also boasts ample parking on its grounds. I highly recommend this place for a comfortable and enjoyable stay."

"The pictures on Hotels.com are much better than the reality. Our experience was very bad. In the bathroom were worms and the beds were not clean, we feared bed bugs and left the hotel during the night. "

"Beautifully appointed rooms and common areas with a great working space that is very convenient for informal meetings and working. Room was a decent size by Milan hotel standards and the free mini bar provision was very generous as was the complementary coffee and snacks in the common areas. No restaurant or breakfast area but the very friendly and attentive staff were happy to provide recommendations and there’s a wide range of dining options nearby. Great attention to detail and lots of luxurious touches.
The hotel is a bit of a walk to a metro station but there is a tram stop outside and the area is very nice in general with plenty to do and not difficult to reach from Linate airport.
As other reviewers have said the spa is not on site and perhaps that should be made clearer in the profile. There was a steamer available but no iron or ironing board and given the amount of business travellers to Milan, perhaps that’s something that the hotel might consider providing. "
"I really enjoyed my stay here. Room was spacious for a solo traveler. Very clean and just a few minutes walk from the Duomo and tram and metro stops. "

"Beautiful hotel and great location. The breakfast was exceptional as well as the restaurant ambience. The room was large and well appointed. Given our stay in the fall the AC was unavailable which meant no airflow in the room; opening the windows (tilt at top) only allowed for so much. It would have been nice to be able to run the central fan or have fans in the room for airflow despite temperature being comfortable. "
