"The staff was very friendly and helpful, also very thorough about their policies and amenities. The breakfast was wonderfully fresh and delicious. They offered several vegetarian, vegan and regular options, which made it easy to pick. And you could get any combination of these options. The property was lovely and reflected the style of the period it was built. Our was large and comfortable, and even though it faced the street, it was very quiet."
"The hotel is in a great location and has Vermont charm throughout. Breakfast was well stocked. My particular double queen room was a bit tired and in need of a facelift. Staff was ok, just not overly friendly. Gym was out of service for half of my stay, but that too looked tired and pretty basic."
"The hotel is nice and the pool area and gym are well equipped and spacious. The breakfast was good, with lots of options. Especially the staff at breakfast was incredibly friendly and helpful. The location is decent and, if desired, in walkable distance to downtown. The only issue was that the free shuttle, which is great, was 1) not advertised and 2) was supposed to leave at 4:30 AM. But when we arrived the shuttle had already left even though it was specifically said that one must not arrive earlier than 4:30 AM. As the shuttle only runs every thirty minutes, this left some guests without a ride to the airport. Staff should be trained to ask guests to arrive five minutes early, especially when inquired by guests. Overall, however, good hotel with friendly staff."
Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott Waterbury Stowe
10/10 Excellent
"Staff was welcoming and helpful. Garage parking with elevator right to your room was awesome- especially in the snow. Room clean and well appointed. Water was a little sporadic in its warmth/lukewarm at times but if you wait a bit and tried it again it usually got hotter. Hotel said that happens sometimes if it’s a high water usage time. Fitness center and pool were great. Breakfast offered many choices, coffee 24 hours as well as in room. Microwave, fridge nice touches. "
