Place really needs to be remodeled. Pool area didn't look great. The room was so outdated, poor beds, very uncomfortable. Couldn't even watch the TV - had to reach out to the front desk. Bathroom looked horrible. Overall the place didn't look clean and I wouldn't stay there ever again nor recommend. The price paid wasn't worth it at all.

The property was very dirty and dilapidated. Our room smelled excessively of smoke, the walls are paper thin, there was a massive centipede in our bathtub and that was just the first minute in. The bathroom door had a hole in it like someone had kicked it in, the toilet seat was cracked, the coffee pot was dirty. The pool has no heater and the ro is falling apart. The parking lot had glass shattered next to our car. And it was not just our room. We went with a group of people and their rooms were just as bad. Only redeeming qualities was the front desk staff was friendly and helpful and there were no bedbugs. Stay somewhere else.

We were there for the eclipse, and it fulfilled all expectations for that. It was clean, and surprisingly quiet considering it was completely full. Parking was no problem. There was even plenty of room for trucks. The staff was friendly and helpful. It is a motel so that should be kept in mind, but it was a good stay.

First off. It’s very hard to find. The name on the sign is in small print under Continental Inn. Bedding looked clean but walls need cleaning/painting. Looks like a good stop for truckers and frat parties. Didn’t get to the pool. Too far away. No elevator.

To begin, we booked the room intentionally for the indoor pool and smoking room. Upon (early) arrival, there was no one at the front desk nor a bell for service or even a phone number to contact. After leaving and coming back after 30-45 minutes, we were greeted by a sign and phone number to contact for help. The check in process was easy. We were quickly disappointed when we found out the indoor pool is not open year round. The only other main concern was a leaking bathroom sink faucet that we didn’t notice until the bucket holding the water started over flowing and spilling onto the floor. We brought this up to front desk and instead of acting surprised (or worried) they were more concerned with us having to deal with the inconvenience. This leads me to believe they knew there was a plumbing issue to start with. It was disappointing for our first visit to (Watertown) USA.

The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. They did amazing. The only issues were with the room. The carpet was sticky. I was using a trail of towels to prevent stepping on it, even in socks. Also, there was no water pressure when using the hot side. So we didn’t get to shower this morning. We tried but it was unsuccessful

Our room was dingy, furniture was broken, the one room didnt even have an actual dresser, it was more like a filing cabinet, both rooms stunk like piss and sulfur, the fridge was small, missing the door bars to hold drinks..my cooler was bigger than the refrigerator..the carpet was ripped the door didnt close all the way nor lock right. Some other guest of the hotel kept trying to come in our room, the beds were ROCK HARD and we had ROACHES in the room. It was overall horrible although the management was able to accomodate us with a different room and were kind enough to give us a discount for the inconvenience and the housekeeper was very kind.

The first room i was in the toilet broke and overflowed. The second had a leaky toilet, finally the third room was ok which i finally moved to. The showers and sinks looked old and dirty. The surrounding area looked unsafe. Probably sexond worst hotel ive stayed in except for the employee was nice at the front.

Safety concerns
The hotel outer door lock was broken. The window did not lock it has a piece of wood in its place. The door to the room the dead bolt lock was broken. The water in the bathroom was Luke cold instead of warm. The plus to it was the charging ports for the phone and it was clean. The place needs a new makeover. Especially a safety issue.

Disgusting filthy place
This was the absolute worst hotel I have ever seen. People working there were extremely unprofessional. The fish tank in the lobby was disgustingly filthy. The hotel smelled awful and the room was beyond disgusting. We had to go find an employee because the phone in the room didn’t work but we needed someone to come put clean sheets on the bed because there were hairs and dirt on them. The man cleaning rooms tried to tell us the they sometimes stick on in the wash. We ended up checking out 5 hours after we checked in. Would have been less time for us to check out if we did not need to get to an event we had been there for. The manger refused her name but lied to hotels.com about our check out time and refused a refund then was unacceptably rude when I called.

This place is a good alternative to paying high prices for a night or two of sleep. It is centrally located for shopping and has the space and grounds for a decent stay for a decent price. It is no Sheraton but has all the amenities one would need for a reasonable price. Neighbours can be a problem and noisy.

They are just basic rooms, which is fine with us because its usually just a place to sleep, clean up and relax a bit in between running around and shopping. They are not perfect rooms, but thats fine with us.

Worst hotel ever steer clear of this place. Their so called indoor pool wasn't heated so temperature was like taking a cold shower. The ice machine wasn't working, the whole place smells like smoke, the floor was wet in a couple of spots and the rest was sticky on the rest. My opinion is it needs to have a complete overhaul or tore down. It is nothing like you see in the pictures. Only good thing is the price.

Rate was very cheap however I was led to believe there would be coffee and tea available mornings in the lobby. I'm an early riser and for three days I was up and out between 6:30-7:00. Never any coffee out there nor any employee to be seen. Office was closed. No one there to check me out when I left the motel, Room conditions are fair, but had a great shower, TV and refrigerator.

The room was filthy and dirty the microwave was rusted on top and inside the bathroom was gross there were holes in the wall the screen was ripped couldn't get an ashtray for a smoker room that would pay for the bed was never changed when we went out for the day batteries were out of the back of the remote staff was rude and couldn't get coffee

We specifically booked no smoking rooms because we were traveling with children. Unfortunately, one of the rooms next to us was smoking so much weed in their non smoking room, that they pretty much hot boxed you when you were in the hallway. Talking to the main desk about this did nothing to fix it (despite all the signs that state they take smoking in a non-smoking room seriously). The pool was green and completely unusable the whole time we were there and that was one of the main reasons for picking this motel. Again, the front desk staff did not care. I get it- we didn't pay a lot for these rooms and didn't have high expectations for them but they delivered even less. Do yourself a favor and pay a bit more for your rooms elsewhere- this is a trash facility.

The room smelt musty and the bathroom stank heavily of urine. The toilet was clogged, the carpets and furniture all were extremely old and dirty. They didn’t want to compensate for clogged toilet or urine smell. It was the worst place I’ve ever stayed at. I did not feel safe with the rough type of guests they had. The checkin girl was trying to be helpful but the manager just didn’t budge

Check in was arduous. The Expedia listing did not mention a $100 CASH deposit required at check in. I have bought and sold cars with less oaperwork. Never been forced to pay almost teice the room rate in CASH. THE ROOM OVERALL WAS BETTER THAN EXPECTED. Clean, quiet, with TV.
