There were numerous long black hairs found in the bathroom and our clean sheets. The staff was able to get us what we needed, but it took a long time. However we stayed on the off-season. The baby crib was missing two wheels so we had to balance it ourselves which was less than ideal. Solid 2.5 stars as it was affordable for the size of the space and location

I went with my older children and we had a great time. The dining in the resort was better than anything in the local shopping area that we had. The proximity to hiking trails was great. Also, the options that came with the freedom pass were a nice surprise. We were all quite happy with our stay there.

Good stay

Our stay was good. The staff at the desk was wonderful. The room was very minimal. We didn’t have enough blankets or pillows and there was no curtain on the window only simple blinds. The beds aren’t super comfortable but aren’t terrible.

Loved the stay. Can’t beat the price for a family of 6. Plenty of room and a lot of extras. Only complaint is the hallways smelled a bit funny. Hopefully they see this and shampoo the hallway carpet. I stayed in 431 so the hallway carpet there needs a little love. Otherwise, this hotel is in my very short list and I definitely recommend it.

Great family stay, Impressive management

Really impressed with Snowy Owl -- management was fantastic -- ever present, very professional and warm, and incredibly responsive. All staff were kind and courteous. We were there while a hockey tournament was going on -- lots of children. Could have easily felt chaotic but instead it felt calm and welcoming. Continental breakfast was delicious. We has dinner at the restaurant one night and it was great. Furnishings are outdated but rustic -- for the price, it's FINE!! will for sure go back.

My friend and I stayed here for a girls hiking weekend and loved it. Although a little dated the place is spotless and the staff were so friendly and accommodating. The Indian restaurant within was delicious! The freedom pass was a nice bonus giving us access to lots of activities in the area. Overall we loved our stay and will be back.

Evidently the property was constructed in 1975. It obviously has not been updated since. There was an overwhelming, unidentifiable odor throughout the common areas and the hallways which caused us to move our room. The staff was accommodating. The headboard had at least 6 months of dust on the top and the mattress pad had a disgusting amount of hair on it. The bathtub also had hair in it. We did not utilize the in-house restaurant due to the overpowering odor in the building.

Unfortunately, there seemed to be a kids sports tournament in the area when I was there and many of the families stayed at the Snowy Owl Inn. I like kids, bit I felt like my room was attached to a kid's birthday party. Kids were constantly running up and down the hallways playing tag. Fun for them but not for me. I'd suggest if you intend to stay here, ask if there is a sporting event going on. The venue is quaint...older but generally comfortable. There usually was nobody at the front desk. The continental breakfast was good. The shuttle to the ski lifts took about 10 minutes and was very handy.

Team trip

Location is great, convenient to rink and food options. Hotel is dated, like stepping into the 70s. Staff friendly and accommodating. Still uses keys on the door. Breakfast were mini bagels, small pastries and waffle maker, no real hot breakfast. Diner around the corner had better options. Beds comfortable, though heating system could be noisy if you are sleeping next to it. Pillows comfortable. Overall, you stay there for the location.
