"Staff was wonderful. Spa excellent. Breakfast reasonable. Beds were a bit saggy in the middle. Housekeeping was wonderful . Walls very thin. We could hear our neighbors and doors slamming during the night."
"The staff members were friendly and accommodating. the free bottle of wine was very nice as was the complimentary wine tasting. However, the wine tasting samples were extremely skimpy...barely a taste! The facility could use some updating and minor repairs."
"Staff were absolutely lovely, friendly, and accommodating. There is a receptionist from Houston who is particularly smiley and wonderful. Spacious and clean room. I would give it 5 stars if anything in the gym or pool were working. Both treadmills were down and pool was out of order, which is a shame because there is not much of a safe running area outside. This is definitely a location where you need a car to get around, even to Buttermilk Falls, which is close by. Very easily accessible to downtown. Great stay!"
"This was, without a doubt, the most bizarre and worst experience that I have had at a hotel.
I was traveling with my girlfriend after a long, stormy road trip. We are not fussy people and would have been happy with a fairly clean, safe room. We received neither. We walk in to our room after a long road trip and see that half of the window is missing and there were no curtains. They had attempted to cover the window with a piece of cardboard and some tape. We attempted to turn on the heating system, which would not heat up the room. Immediately across from us are huge windows of the building next door.
When we go down to the front desk to try to get the curtains or a room change. We mentioned that we are a gay couple who are unfamiliar with the area and feel very unsafe without curtains. The attendant was unable to help and did not offer a room change to us.
As we returned to the room, we noticed large strands of hair across the bathroom floor and in the shower. No attempt had been made to clean it. We tried to turn the shower on and the handle crashed to the ground. When confronted with these issues, the manager attempted to scam me with a sketchy "all-expense" paid trip to the Dominican Republic via text message. With no curtains, no heat, no clean bathroom, and unprofessional management, this was a horror stay. For your safety, stay far, FAR away."
"The Radisson In Downtown Corning is a centrally located hotel for a holiday weekend visit to Corning. Accessible parking, quick check in, comfortable king size room with remodeled bathroom.
Enjoyed being able to walk right from the hotel to the downtown main street with lots of shops, restaurants and we lucked out with a street festival during our stay.
The staff at the hotel bar were friendly for a drink after dinner.
The only things to improve on at the hotel, we were in the back building so you had to walk through the main building to enter a separate building & the elevator was so slow. It only had 3 floors wasting time coming & going waiting for the elevator. And the room window easily opened to let fresh air in but there was no screen & didn’t want to let bugs in. I would return on a future visit."
"I love a good motel over other overnight options and this one was really nice. It was clean, upkept very well and was quiet. We would come back without a second thought."
