"Basic needs met in a reasonably priced (including a free car park on site) hotel. Nothing to fault really. Reception / manager very friendly and efficient. Even though 2miles away from Slough town centre, it is served directly outside the door by a very frequent, nearly 24hrs bus service."

"Everyone very friendly. I was very lucky to get an upgrade room, but I am sure they are all of the same standards re cleanliness and comfort.
Very good breakfast with choice of what you want cooked to order.

"Overall, we enjoyed our stay at the Cherry Tree. The room and place were lovely and quite modern considering how old the building is.
There was only one shower towel and half a toilet roll when we checked into our room, as well as 1 of each tea/coffee so it seemed our room was prepared for one, however the staff were very helpful to sort this for us straight away.
The location was good for what we wanted, and we enjoyed a lovely evening in Chinnor (although be aware it's a 30 minute walk on...

"My room was very clean and comfortable.
It’s a nice quiet location very close to summer town centre.
The lady was very nice and welcoming.
Very hot shower which was nice..
I would stay again should I be up that way again."

"The hotel is situated in an excellent location, adjacent Windsor castle sitting on the banks of the Thames. The staff were professional and friendly. The room was ample size and clean. Food was excellent, we enjoyed breakfast and an evening meal. Prices were reasonable given the location. We would recommend and may well make a return visit."
"Beware web site descriptions do not match realities. A 'Deluxe' room is described as having a bath tub and countryside views. We had no bath and out look across the car park. Room had no heating (helpful staff member brought in a plug-in heater), broken windows, missing light bulb and no clothes hangars. Minor things but not what you want when arriving late a night.
In the morning , woken by folk in room above as the floors creek and there is a lack of sound insulation.
At breakfast, bread, pastries and butter ran out.
Good bits: EV chargers work well. Hotel staff all v friendly .
Overall, disappointed to not receive the experience we had been offered and paid for."
"Overall, a nightmare.
TV didn’t work
Sockets on the wall didn’t work.
I was not able to plug the kettle , due to not able to use the sockets.
I asked the staff to help, no help provided.
Not happy, looking at getting discount from my two days."
"We chose this hotel over another (cheaper) hotel, because this one had a pool, sauna and steam room. Which we thought would be great after a weekend of Spartan races nearby. However the pool was really cold, and the sauna wasn’t hot. The thermometer in there read 45°. On the other hand, our hotel room was very hot, we needed the window open to let in a small breeze, but it wasn’t enough, so we didn’t sleep very well. Also, at around 3:30am, some sort of loud fire alarm went off and we were all woken up by it. As we had to have the window open, all we could hear was the town centre nightlife, it was very loud and hard to fall asleep listening to the shouting and screaming of people out on the town. This was all very disappointing.
The hotel was clean, the bed was very comfortable and it was perfectly situated near shops, food outlets and the car park we used wasn’t far to walk to and from. We used the Broad Street car park, which the hotel discounted to just £7 for 24 hours use, rather than paying £21 for their own Carpark overnight.
Check in was smooth, the receptionist was professional and knowledgeable. "
"No better than a Travelodge. No mobile reception so needed to use WiFi. The so called “free” wifi isn’t free if you have to give your full name, address, phone number and date of birth to use it! In this day and age, giving the world all your details is ridiculous. "
