"Nice breakfast but limited hours. There was a pool but we didn't use it. Clean beds but walls and couch could have used some attention. Good location near food (Culver's, huckleberry, and a gas station). Would stay here again. Great ice machine on first floor."
"This hotel was great for a quick overnight stay despite having no pool. It was very outdated and could use lots of paint and fixes but again it did work for what we needed this time. The eating area was very small and hard finding a place to eat with only about 4 tables."
"We were passing through and looking for a place to stay in Prairie Du Chien . I chose the Northwood Inn based on the many positive reviews and a very reasonable price. It was a very good choice. I would normally expect to pay close to twice the rate at many chain hotels for a room this nice with breakfast included (also comparable to lower to mid priced chain hotels).
The building is an older lower priced Motel that has been updated and is well maintained. The room and bathroom were spacious and very clean. The air conditioning and fridge worked properly. The breakfast is typical hotel breakfast, but kept full, fresh and hot.
It appears to be a mom and pop operation with multiple family members working the different shifts. They are very helpful and take pride in their business.
I would definitely stay again if passing through."
"The stay was what you would expect for this tier hotel. The breakfast was decent, the room was clean and the service was friendly. There is, however, a lack of parking. There are two very small lots, and street parking."
