"We really enjoyed our stay at the Plum Point Lodge. The location was great with many wineries just a short drive away. The area is easy to navigate and I think this spot was the perfect jumping off point for what we wanted to do while we were there. I especially enjoyed sitting on the dock in the morning and in the evening or by the fire pit. We had dinner at Sapalta on Thursday evening, the food was delicious and caught the last live music of the season on the deck.
Two details that kept the stay from being close to perfect...the room was very damp. So much so that a hand towel used at night wasn't even close to being dry in the morning. I'm not sure if it was a change in the weather, or because we were in the end room, but it was weird. The room also could have benefited from at least one large area rug. The floors were very nice, but a rug would have made it a bit cozier.
We would definitely stay again if in the area, the vibe was really relaxed and sort of a throwback."
"Our entire stay was wonderful. The owners are so sweet and kind, the room was adorable, and the view of the hills in the morning is just exquisite. Breakfast was delightful and included delicious coffee, bagels, pastries (croissants and muffins), cereal, oatmeal, bananas, cantaloupe, hard boiled eggs, yogurt, and more. I couldn’t say enough good things about Vinehurst - just 3 minutes from the lake AND right across the street from the Curtiss Museum?! Yes, please! :)"
"My wife and I had a great stay. Everything was clean and comfortable. The location was absolutely perfect with a short walk to Watkins Glen State Park and all the shops and restaurants."
