"Great place on the Cornwall/Devon border, equidistant from the stuff you can do in the Southwest. The food they serve is great, as is the staff I interacted with. An EV charger in the same parking area is very helpful, as well. I was surprised that my single room didn't have a TV. "The view and setting really made the trip and the staff were so lovely, kind and helpful! Watching the sunset each evening outside on the rocks was glorious. The complementary breakfast was really great, fresh baked croissants and a list of hot options. The rooms were clean and basic but just want was needed really. The location was fantastic for some great walks and sightseeing. I really enjoyed our 2 nights there and would go back."

"Stayed in a small double room as it was the only room available at the time of booking. Clean and had all you need just the bed was small for two adults. Wonderful place with fantastic views overlooking the ocean and Tintagel Castle. We had afternoon tea and it was amazing seating by the window overlooking the Castle. I recommend this hotel for a unique experience just book in advance as it’s popular place to stay. There are nice pubs and cafes in the village itself with really good food if you don’t prebook dinner and breakfast. Don’t miss out when in Tintagel"

"Very nice hotel but more suited to connoisseurs of food ,which was exceptional with prices to match. With only the al a carte menu I’m not sure it suit the average holiday maker unless eating out elsewhere most days. I spent over £350 for six evening dinners excluding wine. Sometimes after a days walking you just want steak and chips not a very prettily decorated plate as tasty as it maybe it’s not going to satisfy your hunger. I’m not knocking the food it was absolutely delicious but every night with no wholesome alternatives? Not for everyone. Save it for your 50th anniversary not a base camp for exploring Devon."
