"I have never left a review but this hotel honestly deserves it. We came to this hotel thinking that it would be a disappointment, as we had just left Tahoe and their room which we thought would be great. It was a real disappointment. To our surprise, the room was really big and the facilities were really kept up. The people who manage really have attention to detail which is highly appreciated by me. Their breakfast was very inclusive and thorough, and their attention to detail definitely followed. I cannot recommend this stay highly enough. If you are going to plan to go to Tahoe, I highly recommend staying in this hotel and driving the one hour to Tahoe afterwards. Their employees were incredibly helpful and even fix an issue with the microwave right away. I have not had service like this in a very long time. Could not recommend this place more and commend them for their amazing work. Thank you for our great stay! Even my child whom usually doesn’t like the hotels we stay at and is opinionated about it, said this was “the best hotel ever.”"

"The inn was super cute, clean, and the location is great to go skiing at Kirkwood! The owners are adorable, very friendly. The only think I wish is was better is communication. It’s pretty hard to contact them and maybe they could do better about check in instructions. We were arriving late (after check in hours) in Friday and instructions said to contact the inn. I was calling the inn every day from that previous Monday to let them know, left several messages with call back number, emailed them several times… and I never received an answer. We were afraid we were going to be stuck in the cold outside without a place to sleep because they were not confirming that they received the message. Luckily, the day of the trip they finally picked up the phone at 4pm. Was pretty stressful situation but ended up working out… "
