"This was our 3rd visit and the room was very well kept and neat. I cannot recall if there was an iron previously but we did miss this - perhaps a mini foldable ironing board and iron could be provided. The salt and pepper shakers had the wrong contents (salt shaker had pepper in it and vice versa). The privacy screen at the pool looks great. "Had a Marvellous time - The staff make you so welcome and everything is catered for excellently- from breakfast to assisting with dinner reservations, places to see, the owner even went to get a razor and shaving cream from the local shop as I had forgotten mine, Champagne for our anniversary - I can not recommend this place enough it’s a place of tranquility and splendour."

"It was a bit confusing since in order to check in you must visit the shop listed. However the Penthouse was comfortable, and convenient. We were concerned about the brown water running from the bath tap, but did not address with manager since only there overnight. Wifi was great and super convenient."

"We stayed at Mont Rochelle for our 3 year wedding anniversary trip, and it was truly unforgettable. When planning, we narrowed our choices down to La Residence or Mont Rochelle, and we couldn’t be happier with our decision. From the moment we arrived, we immediately felt the warmth and hospitality of the team.
A special mention goes to Peter, whose energy and enthusiasm could be felt from the moment we met him—you could hear his voice from across the property, and his positivity instantly set the tone for our stay. He not only made us feel welcome but also gave us excellent recommendations for local wineries and even arranged a fantastic dinner reservation at Leeu Estate, which was a highlight of our trip.
The property itself is absolutely stunning—surrounded by vineyards and mountains, it feels like a serene escape. Our room was beautiful and thoughtfully prepared with anniversary goodies from the manager, Annette, who also took the time to personally greet us at breakfast, which made the experience feel even more special.
Every detail, from the attentive service to the relaxed yet elegant vibe, made our stay exceptional. We left feeling so cared for and already can’t wait to return—perhaps in the summer or during harvest season to experience Mont Rochelle in a different light."
